Wesley Snipes Supreme Court bid rejected

Wesley Snipes's appeal to have his tax case argued in front of the US Supreme Court has been denied.
The Blade: Trinity actor was convicted in 2008 on three misdemeanor counts of willfully failing to file income taxes and was sentenced to 36 months in prison.
Snipes began serving his sentence in Pennsylvania in December 2010.
However, the star soon launched a bid from prison to have his case appealed in the US's highest court, claiming that he should have been tried in his home state of New York rather than Florida, where he had renewed his driver's license on several occasions.
The Supreme Court ruled on Monday that it would not hear Snipes's case, thereby affirming that his 36-month sentence will continue, CNN reports.
Snipes, 48, has not yet issued a public comment on the Supreme Court's decision.
He told former CNN host Larry King before he began serving prison time last year that he doesn't deserve to be jailed and has lost faith in the US courts, adding: "I'm more upset and disappointed in the system."
