Kristen Stewart Feels Threatened by Emma Watson
Heat magazine has dropped a celebrity news and gossip bombshell by claiming that Kristen Stewart is afraid that British actress Emma Watson is after her boyfriend, Robert Pattinson. Evidently Rob had made comments about how cute Watson is, and Kristen is threated because, like Pattinson, Watson is British. And Kristen is reportedly angered by Watson's comments about the Twilight movie franchise, in which Kristen and Rob star. While Rob and Kristen are fixtures of the Twilight series, Rob and Watson both appear in the Harry Potter movies, most recently Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Watson was quoted as saying that the difference between the Harry Potter movies and the Twilight movies was “We're not selling sex,” and Kristen apparently took it very personally. Rumors that Watson and Pattinson are set to co-star in another movie together are apparently not helping, either.
Britney Fills Fox Network with 'Glee'
Britney Spears is back in the middle of the hottest celebrity news and gossip after appearing on hit television show “Glee.” The episode, which aired Tuesday night on Fox, was the highest rated episode of “Glee” among adults age 18-49. The episode out-paced second place CBS by 24% in the adult demographic. The show featured several of her hit songs, including “Baby One More Time,” and “Me Against the Music.” The idea for her cameo appearance on the Britney-themed episode of “Glee” came from her co-manager Adam leber, who floated the idea on Twitter. It received a hugely positive response, and “Glee” creator Ryan Murphy within days said he was interested in pursuing the idea of having Britney on the show. The rest, as they say, is television history.
Nicole "Snookie" Polizzi To Write A Book!
TV personality of the MTV hit show "Jersey Shore" Nicole "Snookie" Polizzi will take on a new profession as a writer this year. Its has been announced by Simon & Schuster that the pint sized reality star will be writing a novel, not a memoir" about a girl looking for love on the New Jersey boardwalk or shore as most people refer to it, titled "A Shore Thing" due to hit the store next year. The book is said to have been in the work for a while but Snookie's recent arrest brought the book news to the media.
Horrible Bosses and Wanderlust
Jennifer Aniston Horrible Bosses and Wanderlust Jennifer Aniston will join a comedy movie with Colin Farrell, Jason Bateman, Charlie Day, and Jamie Foxx, titled Horrible Bosses, directed by Seth Gordon. The film focuses on a trio of employees who plot to murder their titular tyrannical supervisors. Aniston will play one of the bosses, a sexually aggressive dentist who harasses Charlie Day's character. Jennifer Aniston has signed up to star in Wanderlust with Paul Rudd, who she co-starred with in 1998 movie The Object of My Affection. The script, which has been bought by Universal Pictures, was written by Rudd, Ken Marino, and David Wain with the latter also directing the film and will be produced by Judd Apatow. The movie tells the story of a married couple who join a commune after losing their money and deciding modern life is not for them. btw.. The Dancing with the Stars contestant took a friend for lunch at McDonald’s Wednesday afternoon in LA, where she devoured a delicious, though questionably nutritious, salad from the fast food eatery. Despite her increasing celebrity and new Hollywood lifestyle, it looks like Palin still longs for the comforts of her simple life in Alaska, where McDonalds was most likely a cornerstone of her rural life.
Katherine Heigl's Compassion Revolution
Some of the latest celebrity gossip is quite positive for a change: actress Katherine Heigl has pledged $1 million for a no-cost spay and neuter program in Los Angeles. Heigl created the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation and named it after her late brother. It will work with various other organizations on the Compassion Revolution, a project to reduce the unwanted pet population in LA. This latest celebrity news resulted from Heigl wanting to find a way to reduce the unwanted pet population compassionately, instead of shelters having to euthanize healthy animals. She says she was brought up with the ethic of not bringing unwanted animals into the world, telling People magazine, “When I was growing up, my mother and father had zero desire for any one of our animals to have a litter.” Heigl has six dogs of her own, three of them being rescues.
Evan Rachel Wood's 'Guilty' Face
In recent celebrity news and gossip, Evan Rachel Wood was named the new “face” of Guilty perfume by Gucci. One of the reasons the perfume division of the top ten fashion designers chose Wood was that she is a “rising and influential” figure, according to Gucci creative director Frida Gianni. For her part, the actress says that she keeps toxic and judgmental people out of her life, telling People magazine, “ I try and surround myself with people who just aren't afraid to be who they are.” Wood is known for her daring style, and credits her upbringing in an artistic family with her comfort at being a bit different from the masses.
