Kamal Haasan’s daughter Akshara Haasan is pursuing her elder sister Shruti’s path and trying for opportunities in Bollywood. The 20-year old was initially interested in a position behind the camera but has now decided to try her hand at acting. Akshara’s mother Sarika, a veteran actress herself, is nurturing and introducing the wannabe actress to Bollywood biggies. Kamal Haasan had recommended Shruti to various directors. Now it’s the mother in the act for her younger daughter.

Akshara Hassan, daughter of Kamal Hassan and Sarika, is reportedly dating a Sri Lankan boy named Jason Jeyaseelan. 19-year-old Akshara has surprised her friends by posting their picture on a social networking site. According to reports, a year ago, the couple came to know each other through one of their common friends. Since then, their relationship has grown stronger. But Akshara’s parents does not know about their love and they just know that they are good friends, adds report. Akshara, younger sister of talented Shruti Hassan, is gearing up to mark her debut in films. She is currently working with ad film-maker Rahul Dholakia as an assistant director.
