Angelina Jolie Creating ‘Statement’ Jewelry Line

Image
Her celebrity fashion style always makes a statement, and now Angelina Jolie is creating a new line of jewelry with Robert Procop Exceptional Jewels. She wore a piece from the collection at the Berlin premiere of her movie Salt earlier this year: a black spinel necklace bezel set in rose colored gold. Robert Procop has designed jewelry for Jolie for a decade, describing the new fashion accessories as “pieces she wears herself.” Each piece is priced individually, sold through Procop’s network of clients, and the proceeds from the sales go to the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict. This is not Jolie’s first jewelry collection, however. Last year she and partner Brad Pitt created a collection of gold and silver jewelry for Asprey, with all profits donated to the same charity.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie promotes 'The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button'

Image
IN fairness to ANGELINA JOLIE , it must be pretty tiring having to pick out a new outfit for every glam movie premiere. And while she’s usually bang on the money with her elegant fashion choices, we’re not so sure about this white trouser suit. The actress has been trailing hubby BRAD PITT across the world as he promotes The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button and opted for this JOHN TRAVOLTA -inspired get-up at the film’s European launch in Berlin last night. Organizers must have felt tempted to belt out the BEE GEES’ Staying Alive over the PA. Though Angie would have struggled to dance along in such long, shoe-concealing trousers. Still, her beautifully-crafted hairdo gets a big thumbs up from us. Photo and Source

Angelina Jolie is blaming Jennfier Aniston for failure to win recent awards

Image
Furious Angelina Jolie is blaming Jennifer Aniston for her embarrassing failure to win anything at recent award shows. As NOW revealed last month, Angelina, 33, was left reeling when Jen publicly laid into her, calling her ‘inappropriate’ for revealing details of the early days of her relationship with Brad Pitt. Angelina was nervous because Jen’s interview in the December issue of Vogue coincided with the voting of the snooty judges who decide the award winners, including the Oscars, and she feared it would scupper her chances. Now Angelina, who was hotly tipped to win several gongs, has seen her fears confirmed after she was spectacularly snubbed at both the Critics’ Choice Awards and the Golden Globes. ‘Ange is gutted,’ says our insider. ‘She feels that Jen’s interview had a part to play in her losing out. Critics lauded Angelina’s performance in Changeling as phenomenal and there’s been lots of Oscar buzz, but now she doesn’t think she stands a chance. ‘The judges are notoriously...
