Kate Gosselin Profile and Full Biography Kate Gosselin was born on March 28, 1975 in Hershey, Pennsylvania as Katie Irene Kreider. She was the second child of Kenton and Charlene Kreider. She has three sisters – Kendra, Rissa, Chris and a brother Kevin. Kate Gosselin attended the Reading Hospital and Medical Center in Pennsylvania, where she later worked as a registered nurse in labor and delivery.In 1997, Kate Kreider met Jonathan Gosselin at a picnic.
