She has recently done a special photo shoot for Elle for this cover which later stirred up a controversy. Elle India has allegedly changed the color of Aishwarya Rai skin to look like a white woman. This is definitely a racial act says furious Aishwarya fans and everyone who feels that this act has hurt their sentiments. They say that Aishwarya Rai is a global face representing Indian women. "I have not given up modelling. I have been selected as one of the six Victoria’s Secret Angels, the world famous brand synonymous with chic women wear," she said.
