After giving Darsheel Safary a dream launchpad with Taare Zameen Par, actor-producer-director Aamir Khan has now praised and extended support to the child actor and his movie Zokkomon, that released on Friday. Aamir showered praise and extended good wishes to Darsheel when the Zokkomon team, including director Satyajit Bhatkal and actress Manjari Phadnis, visited his Bandra house to invite him for a special screening of the movie. "I am very excited to watch this action adventure by Disney which is known for quality films, and especially since it has Darsheel in a brand new superhero avatar. Perfectionist Aamir Khan has taken a dig at Salman Khan once again. After having made indirect references to Sallu in Imran Khan starrer ‘Jaane Tu…’ song ‘Pappu can’t dance’, the talented actor has made a yet another sleazy reference to his flamboyant contemporary in his upcoming flick ‘Dhobi Ghat’. Pratik Babbar, who plays one of the protagonists in the film sports Salman’s trademark bracelet. Moreover, he also portrays a character who is obsessed with body-building. We present to you an exclusive First Look of the film.Dhobi Ghat marks the directorial debut of Aamir Khan’ s wife Kiran Rao. Kiran Raoworked as an assistant director on films like Aamir Khan’ s Lagaan and Shah Rukh Khan’ s Swades. Like Aamir Khan’ s last production Peepli [Live], Dhobi Ghat too is a moderatelybudgeted film which revolves around a dhobi (clothes washer) called Shia (played byMonica Dogra) and a horde of other interesting characters including Munna (played byPrateik Babbar) and an artist Arun (played by Aamir Khan). The film was recently premiered at the Toronto Film Festival and was received with much appreciation. Reportedly, Aamir Khan plays a cameo and, like in Taare Zameen Par, his character doesn’ t take the lead though is significant to the story. Prateik Babbar is the one to watch out for in this film.
